Requirements

Director: must have a Bachelor Degree in Education; must have a certificate with The Registry and level 14 or higher; updated CPR / First Aid training /Shaken Baby Syndrome Training; must have 5yrs experience or more. Applicant must pass caregiver background check before employment.  Applicant must demonstrate professionalism and excellent leadership skills; must enjoy working with kids and be able to communicate with parents/staff on all levels. Must be knowledgeable of ITERS and ECERS program. Training in WMELS (WI MODEL EARLY LEARNING STANDARDS) a plus. WI Childcare Administrator Credential a plus.

Teacher: must have a Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education; must have a certificate with The Registry and level 12 or higher; updated CPR / First Aid training /Shaken Baby Syndrome Training; Applicant must pass caregiver background check before employment.  Applicant must demonstrate professionalism and excellent leadership skills; must enjoy working with kids and be able to communicate with parents/staff on all levels. Must be knowledgeable of ITERS and ECERS program. Training in WMELS (WI MODEL EARLY LEARNING STANDARDS) a plus.

Assistant Teacher: must have high school diploma or equivalent; must have 80 full days or 120 half days of experience as an assistant teacher; must have a certificate with The Registry, level 2 or higher; must have either two non-credit DCF approved courses in early childhood education (example: Introduction to the Child Care Profession and Skills and Strategies) or 48 credits from an institution of higher education with at least 3 credits in early childhood education or its equivalents, Updated CPR / First Aid  training/Shaken Baby Syndrome Training. Applicant must pass caregiver background check before employment. Applicant must demonstrate professionalism and excellent leadership skills; must enjoy working with kids and be able to communicate with parents/staff on all levels; willing to learn ITERS and ECERS program. Training in WMELS (WI MODEL EARLY LEARNING STANDARDS) a plus.

Substitute: must have high school diploma or equivalent; must have 80 full days or 120 half days of experience as an assistant teacher; must have a certificate with The Registry, level 2 or higher; must have either two non-credit DCF approved courses in early childhood education (example: Introduction to the Child Care Profession and Skills and Strategies) or 48 credits from an institution of higher education with at least 3 credits in early childhood education or its equivalents, Updated CPR / First Aid  training/Shaken Baby Syndrome Training. Cook: must have 2 years of experience with the CACFP program; must pass caregiver background check before employment; able to lift 40 lbs or more; must be familiar with computers; able to plan meals one month in advance using Microsoft Word; have Nutrition and Food Service training and Menu Planning and Preparation training.

Van Driver: must be at least 18 years of age; valid driver’s license; at least one year as a licensed driver. Good driving record without any traffic violations within the past two years; must pass caregiver background check before employment; have updated CPR / First Aid training, Child Abuse & Neglect, and Shaken Baby Syndrome training. Applicant must be computer literate for the purpose of signing kids in/out on the computer. Must be able to demonstrate organization skills, also be able to communicate with staff and parents efficiently. Applicants applying must have a good sense of directions.

Housekeeper: must pass caregiver background check before employment, Applicant applying must be in good health (updated physical from doctor) able to lift 40 lbs or more, able to stand for long periods of time; finish projects in a timely manner, able to work with minimal supervision.
